A busy family farm in Zirobwe, Luwero: meet the animals, play team games and share a big farm meal, north of Kampala.
Mlinza Farm is a family-owned farm of about 15 acres in Wabitungulu village, Zirobwe, in Luwero District, on the Busiika to Kikyusa road north of Kampala. It welcomes visitors for farm days, team days and its yearly Farm Feast.
The farm was started in 2018 by a couple, Carol Zawedde Sanyu and Eric Mulindwa, who began with a few goats; the name Mlinza joins their two names. Today it is a busy mixed farm with chickens, rabbits, turkeys, guinea fowl, ducks and fish ponds. A day here is a real look at how many Ugandan families earn a living from mixed farming, and how food travels from the field to the plate. It is relaxed, hands-on and full of fresh air.
You are hosted by Carol, Eric and their team themselves, and the day runs at their pace. The farm programme is included in your trip, so what you pay goes to the farm family. The farm also holds a yearly Farm Feast with cultural dancers and a traditional feast table; Two Servants took guests to the Mlinza Farm Feast in 2026. It is a warm, simple way to meet a Ugandan family and see how they live and work.
Farm days run through the year.
Allow 1.5 to 2 hours from Kampala, and about 1 hour more from Entebbe. Open trips leave from Oryx Fuel Station, Lugogo; company and school groups set their own pickup.
Mlinza Farm suits company team days, schools, families and local groups best. For international guests it is a light add-on rather than a headline. Walking is easy, Level 1 to 2. Extreme Adventure Park is nearby in Busiika, on the way from Kampala, so the two pair well for a company day.
