Jinja sits where the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria, about two to three hours east of Kampala. Jinja Diaries is a relaxed three-day trip on the river: you float on calm water on a tube, take a boat ride, feel the “water massage” of the rapids at the river’s edge and visit Busowoko Falls.
On the way you stop at Namawojjolo for roasted snacks, and you see the new Nile bridge. In the evenings you can enjoy Jinja’s night life.
